Disney Engagement Photos | Magic Kingdom and Epcot | Rachel + Dan

I truly had a magical time capturing Disney Engagement photos of Rachel and Dan at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. They are the perfect complementary couple—they both love some friendly competition while enjoying their favorite hobbies - like, running around the parks together.

They both love Ice hockey - like, love love it. She likes the Penguins while he likes the Tampa Bay Lightning and they always make little jabs at each other about who is going to win. She loves to run, and he loves to play golf (hopefully they don’t try to combine the two, haha!).

Capturing the Magic of Disney World

I had the pleasure of tagging along on one of their absolute favorite things to do together—visiting Disney World! What better way to celebrate their engagement, than through pictures at their favorite place?!

First, we took some pictures on the famous Disney Monorail as it transported them into the wonderful world. Once we entered the park, the hustle and bustle of vacationers moved all around, but time stood still for Rachel and Dan. Disney World really is extraordinary—the couple took all kinds of photos, traveling through time and space using the magic of Disney. They embraced under the rocky cliffs and water falls, kissed in front of the Liberty Square Riverboat, and laughed inside an old fashioned candy shop. Some of the staged buildings made it look like they were standing on the sidewalks of New York City.

Some of my favorite pictures captured Rachel and Dan blissfully walking down the pathway between flowering hedges and old fashioned streetlamps. It looked like scenes from an old romantic movie...popcorn anyone?!

However, they still found time around the shoot to bring out their competitive sides. Rachel explained, “We are very competitive on Toy Story Mania and Buzz Lightyear (I win on Toy Story, Dan wins at Buzz). Also, Dan is not the biggest roller coaster fan, so it's still great that he needs me to hold his hand before the launch on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster." To be honest, I think it was just a way to get closer to his gorgeous future bride—but come on, what guy wouldn’t?!

Either way, happiest of wishes to this couple as they launch into their future together, hand in hand!

Are you recently engaged? Congratulations!! I would love to chat with you about your engagement and photography needs!!
