The absolutely gorgeous Tradewinds Island Grand Resort Beach wedding of Ashley and Dan is seriously one for the record books!
Every chance I get, I try my hardest to share with my Brides the great things about having a fun and pretty little outdoor bridal session, especially if they are on a privately owned ranch.
Wedding days are seriously so crazy busy, and there are a lot of times when there just isn’t room in the schedule to have a bridal session on the actual wedding day. When wedding days get a little behind or the schedule doesn’t allow for it, the Bridal photos are sometimes the first thing to be ignored - insert huge sad face.
Every single time, and I mean, every single time, we’ve decided to have a separate outdoor Bridal session, the photos were just breathtaking. Taking bride photos outside have a more laid back feel and the stress that would accompany trying to fit in a lot of photos of just the bride during the wedding day, just isn’t there.
So, Natalie decided that photos of just her were very important and about a month before her wedding, she would slip into her wedding dress and have her photos taken at her outdoor bridal session with me. The gorgeous, privately owned ranch and barn venue where she and Bryan were going to say their vows to each other was the perfect backdrop for her Bridal photos.
She scheduled her hair and makeup trial for that morning and we were able to have her session in the late afternoon, complete with amazing weather and trees for miles. Seriously, this place is amazing - about 100+ acres of tree filled ranch land. My Jaime soul just sings when I am able to photograph there. Natalie’s mom came along and made sure that her wedding dress didn’t get dirty - she did a great job! She even kept a blanket handy to place on the ground under Natalie’s dress. I think I’ll have to hire her at my next outdoor Bridal session. :)
The old courtroom inside of the Orange County Regional History Center in Orlando is one of the most unique and gorgeously classic wedding venues in the city for having an intimate wedding. The stately room is on the smaller side, but it makes up for it in absolute character. Angela and Paul came from up north along with a few of their close friends and family in order to share their love for each other by sharing sweet vows and even some silly antics. Paul’s daughters decided to dance their way down the aisle and laughter just filled the small courtroom - I’m sure that back in the day, there wasn’t much laughter in that courtroom, so it was great to hear it. Angela’s Niece sang to them during the ceremony and not a single eye was free from a tear or two. Holy goodness it was gorgeous. After the tear-filled ceremony the newlyweds and guests headed to their vacation home to celebrate - and boy, was that a blast as well!
